Shooting with Staci

Here is the first gallery of photos from one of the photography trips my niece Staci Hawkes and I used to make before she passed away in Feb. of 2023.
We always had fun, laughed a lot, talked a lot and really got to know each other quite well. These shoots between us became some of my best memories of photography.
These are a few of my photos with Staci from a trip around the Bangor area ending up in downtown Bangor.

Downtown Bangor Me.

I was born here and after about 30 years away I moved back home. The best way for me to see how things have changed is to photograph it. I love some street photography, wish I had more people here.

Street Photography: Downtown and around Camden, Me.

This was my second venture out to start shooting more photos for me, rather than photos to sell. Taking the time to go out to a town and or city and look for photos to make is fun. Sometimes you will get nothing and sometimes I think I will surprise myself.

Either way, it will be good for my skills to shoot more different things than I have in the past.

Here are some photos from around the downtown area of Camden.

Street Photography: Dogs, flags, buildings and people in Rockland, Me.

Took sometime Friday to sit downtown and see what I could get for photos.  While I came away not overly excited there are some good photos here. They say practice makes perfect so will continue to work on this new area of photography for me. I used the wrong lens for sure, need to get more distance. I will work on that today.

Here are some photos from the shoot.
