Ship in the harbor

After a long hiatus from this blog I started years ago I now have the time to not only get out and find some new treasures but to also re-edit some of the thousands of photos I still have.

July 25, 2015 this ship sat in Rockland Harbor. Here are a couple of versions of the photo!!

Just a few casual photos of one of my girls, I love the last four, she loves her soccer ball and will go to great lengths to retrieve it!

Fetch with the girls just before surgery

This is the last time I got to shoot the girls before my hip surgery. The field off the Old County Road makes a great place for the girls to run and play.

Maggie (red collar) and Brandy (purple collar) love playing fetch, but love smelling all the new smells as well.

Memorable Moments from the past

As I work on a project I come across photos that while others may not care about them, they mean something to me. Most of these photos taken in 2011 and 2012 are on display at the Thomaston Applebee's Restaurant.
December 6, 2011, Erskine Academy at Oceanside freshman basketball. This is the first game played at Oceanside High School, the new merger between Rockland District High School and Georges Valley High School. Oceanside's Philip Atwood dives fully extended to recover a loose ball.
Oceanside 2011 Field Hockey, taken just before a game Sept. 3 at Oceanside High School.

Street Photography: Dogs, flags, buildings and people in Rockland, Me.

Took sometime Friday to sit downtown and see what I could get for photos.  While I came away not overly excited there are some good photos here. They say practice makes perfect so will continue to work on this new area of photography for me. I used the wrong lens for sure, need to get more distance. I will work on that today.

Here are some photos from the shoot.

Out & About — Rockland Harbor and downtown

Went on a nearly 3-mile walk today around the harbor and through downtown seeing what drew my attention.

The water out a ways and the sky was just beautiful this afternoon.

A view from my camera - Rockland Summer Solstice

The annual Rockland Summer Solstice took place a few days early in order to hold the event on a Saturday. The downtown was packed with vendors, musicians, face painters, some of the best pizza I have ever had and so much more.  Talk a browse through the gallery to get an idea of the fun.
