Color is lacking for this time of year

Today I traveled up Mt. Battie to see how the foliage really looked in the Camden and surrounding area. By now the colors should be brilliant, they are, however, much less than stellar!

I did meet the nicest couple from California that just loved Maggie and Brandy. They were missing their lab back home so we spent about 1/2 hour talking and they fussed over the dogs and left a happier couple for the day.  They were really nice people.

The great thing about shooting from Mt. Battie is its a great shot from anywhere.

Mt. Battie was packed so getting a good shooting location was difficult, but here are a few I got today. Yes, they have been edited. Shot with a Nikon D750 using a Nikon 70-200 f2.8 VR11 lens at 70mm. Edited using Lightroom with presets.
